SAT and ACT (high school)

Do you want to develop the writing and language skills to ace the SAT or ACT? Join one of our prep classes and learn the secrets to success on the test! With our small student-to-teacher ratio, you will have the opportunity to grow in knowledge and familiarity with exam content. Using the Princeton Review guidebook, we will unpack the test’s core concepts and interact with numerous practice questions. Take the stress out of the SAT and ACT by engaging with the material in a weekly class led by an Uplift Writing Coach.

Each class will be led by Leah, an Uplift Writing coach who has been trained in the nuances of the SAT and ACT English and Writing sections. She has previously taught hundreds of students how to succeed on these tests. Get to know a little more about her here.

Holly was recommended to us by a good friend whose daughter needed more challenges with her writing. She helped our son immeasurably with multiple facets of the independent high school application process—from preparing methodically for the SSAT and ISEE to navigating Ravenna and to tackling the myriad of essays (both for us, the parents and for him). The high school application process can be quite daunting but she helped us by breaking it up into manageable pieces. She also helped our son more generally with the writing process. She offered concrete and strategic suggestions that were put to use regularly in the applicAtion process. Her new office is cheery, open and conveniently located.
